    Book Report TITLE not working properly

    Note that when making a Book Report, that the “Book Title” entry does not function at all. When the report is created, the Title Page contains what ever was made previously. The result is that the user must MANUALLY change the Title page to read correctly.

    This bug was first reported two (2) updates ago.

    As a computer programmer in a previous life, I understand how simple bugs like this can slip under the radar. But, PLEASE fix this annoying (minor) error before releasing the next update to one of the best computer programs I have ever hade the pleasure of using.

    TIA!

    I'm not seeing a problem here.

    When a book is created, the 4 fields (Book title, Subtitle, Author and Copyright) that appear in the create book panel all make their way into the book setting window once the book is created.

    On your cover page (where the book title appears) is the title entered as 'markup' - for example: [bookTitle] ?

    Please describe this issue in more detail if I am missing something.

      I have enclosed two sceenshots;
      1) The Create a Book Report panel with the desired "Title", and
      2) The resulting Title Page from that request. Screenshot 2024-11-08 at 1.15.16 PM.png Screenshot 2024-11-08 at 1.15.57 PM.png

        Try double clicking the incorrect title in the book editor and changing the text to [bookTitle]

          Ok.That has NOT solved my problem. I deleted the old "title" assuming that Reunion would reconstitue a "new" title page with the correct title. THAT DID NOT HAPPEN. (see enclosed screenshot.) Now what?

            I think I might not have been clear.

            I meant for you to double-click the text on the cover page canvas itself and change it to [bookTitlle].

            You should be able to double-click the text at the bottom of your title page to see an example of correctly formatted tags for author and copyright.
