I uploaded a GEDCOM file to Ancestry.com a while ago. I did some work on it (connecting people to documents) for a while but I've left it alone for over a year now. I want to get it up to date with the info that I have in Reunion. It appears that my options are as follows:
1) Open Reunion, walk through the database and compare to Ancestry tree and manually make changes.
2) Delete the old tree, upload a GEDCOM from Reunion, relink new tree to Ancestry records.
3) Buy Family Tree Maker for Mac 2, export GEDCOM from Reunion, import into FTM2 and then sync it to Ancestry tree. I'm not sure if this would work, though.
I'm not concerned about Reunion Notes and Sources, just new people and new connections that I've identified. Before I go and order FTM2 I figured I'd check here to see if anyone is having success with the Reunion-to-GEDCOM-to-FTM2-syncTo-Ancestry method.
