I'm eagerly awaiting the new iMacs that have been announced to replace my 2007 iMac. My Reunion 9 files on the old iMac (OS10.5.8) will get upgraded to Reunion 10.

My first reaction is that using Migration Assistant before doing anything else when you first turn on your new computer should always be Plan A. Once it's done, it should feel just like you're on your old computer, only a lot better.
All your links to multimedia should be preserved. If for some odd reason you lose the links when upgrading to Reunion 10 (pre- or post migration), Reunion 10 does a very good job when repairing links.
